Quickie Review - 7-Eleven App, a Stable in the Boner Toolbelt
I really like Starbucks coffee. We have a Nespresso Vertuoline machine in our home. Yet, I get coffee at 7-Eleven fairly regularly. Why? Convenience. Price. In the U.S, there are 7-Elevens everywhere. They are as common as Starbucks. I also love paying very little money for my coffee. They also have an app, a frequent buyer type thing. I've had it installed for at least a year, let me tell you why.
The main premise of the app(Android and iOS) is that every seventh drink is free. It doesn't matter the cost, each drinks counts as one. You can buy six 99 cent Big Gulps, and get a large Slurpee or a Double Gulp for free. I have this down pat, at my local 7-Eleven, they know exactly what I do. I get six Big Gulps, and a Double Gulp for free. I don't drink Soda, this is all just iced coffee, since I don't drink it hot. The quantity of coffee you get for 99 cents is damn good. The quality itself is pretty good for what you pay.
Every once in a while, the app will give you free items with purchase of others. It sometimes give you free items flat out. I just got a free Gulp drink this week. A few months ago I got a free Slurpee(no, I don't drink these usually, but it was free!). This is all literally pennies. In case you haven't noticed a trend, I earn and save a lot of pennies. Over time, it adds up. The 7-Eleven gets a hard recommendation from me. You never know when you're late making coffee at home, or you need a pick me up in the middle of the day, nothing beats a cheap cup of coffee. Go here to download.
